Glen Sanders Event: "Opioid-Induced Respiratory Depression" Wednesday October 6, 2010 5:00-8:30pm

The focus of this lecture is on the healthcare team's role in preventing and managing opioid-induced respiratory depression. The risk factors, incidence, and contributing factors related to opioid-induced respiratory depression are discussed. The use of mechanical monitoring during opioid pain management and the recommended approach to nurse monitoring of sedation and respiratory status are presented. This lecture outlines the steps toward providing both effective and safe opioid pain management.

VIVITE is an advanced skin care routine developed by Allergen that contains GLX Technology, an advanced fusion of the clinically demonstrated benefits of glycolic acid and natural antioxidants.
