Sunlight is essential to everyday life. Although sunlight provides you with Vitamin D, it also hits you with harmful UV rays. There are two different types of UV rays. UVA rays which are responsible for aging and deeper penetration of the skin. UVB rays are more potent rays that cause sunburn. To date, there are no products that can screen all UVA rays, but using products with SPF (sun protection factor) can certainly help. The times between 10-3 are the most dangerous times to be exposed to sunlight. The term " exposed to sunlight " does not mean being directly in the sun, day to day tasks , such as driving in your car , exposes you to these rays so it is very important to stay protected. Many of our daily products including clothing can assist with protection. Fusion Medspa offers several different SPF products such as Jane Iredale Minerals.
