CNY Healing Arts is pleased to welcome Krista Spohr
Krista's 6 year, individual practice started at a yoga studio in NYC, then evolved into a calling while studying for her Master's in Environmental Management in Sydney, Australia. It was the NYC studio that fostered the alignment principles in conjunction with the importance of the individual's body, as well as body awareness. And while she worked for Australia's leading mind and body health club, Elix'r, she experienced the styles that most fully encompass her calling.
Krista completed her teacher training in Albany at HeartSpace Holistic with Lauren Toolin. Krista's heart can be felt through her teachings, as she tries to foster a state of balance within each student, which has been a legacy passed down to her by her teachers. It is bringing this same
balanced state to those in need, that is Krista's life mission. In 2005,
this journey took her to Baton Rouge, Louisiana where she provided relief through AMURT to the victims of Hurricane Katrina, as well as many other adventures, and it is this legacy that has encouraged her to open
